Tax records from 1799, 1800, and 1801 show an Oliver Blizard owning land in Minisink, Orange County, New York. This could be him or possibly a son. There is an Oliver born in 1775 buried in the Hallock Blizzard Family Cemetery, but that person wouldn’t be old enough to be him.

In the Fall of 1815 Oliver Blizzard father of John, Richard, and William was living toward Finchville, New York. John Hallock and John Hallock Jr were living at Ridgebury. Living East of Mount Hope were Israel and Nathan Hallock.
In 1820 Oliver, John, and Richard Blizzard were living near Binne Water Pond.
Zebulon and Richard Hallock were living there too.

They stayed there until 1869 when they moved to Port Jervis.
In 1870 they purchased the old and well known hostelry the Minisink House on Front St. (later Quick’s Furniture House) up until her husband’s death in January 1892. She then retired to her home on Sussex St.
She had long been an attendant of the Reformed Church of Deerpark.

From the Port Jervis New York Evening Gazette 1886. Mary R Hull a 65 year old widow drowned herself in a spring on his farm in Winterton a small hamlet near the borderline of Sullivan County. She had recently worked for him. (Thought he had sold his farm back in 1878 and was living in Middletown, so don’t really understand this)
At the time of his sister Margaret’s death in 1891 he was living at the corner of John Street and Linden Avenue.
